    I like this idea. I agree with the asker, the answer is Yes, it would help the students stay IN colleges whereas if they get rooted in some destructive behaviour early on, there would be a higher rate of dropouts. It would be great for students to live at the dorms all year or even one semester of one year and get the feel of college/university life before jumping into a frat or sorority!
